Afrobarometer
An independent research project that measures the social, political and economic atmosphere in Africa. During Round 1, from July 1999 through June 2001, Afrobarometer surveys were conducted in 12 countries. Round 2 surveys were conducted from May 2002 through October 2003 in 15 countries. Round 3 surveys in 18 countries are planned for 2005-6. Survey microdata are released to the public two years after the first publication of a survey's results. Available through ICPSR.

Asian Barometer
"... a cross-national survey project. The success of the project required collaboration among the thirteen participating country/territory teams and the funding support from many national and transnational sources. Under the data-sharing agreement among our East Asian collaborators, we have made our merged dataset and all the variables contained in our core questionnaire freely accessible to scholars and experts worldwide upon application."
Eurobarometer - Public Opinion in the European Union
Eurobarometer is the polling instrument used by the European Commission, the European Parliament and other EU institutions and agencies to monitor regularly the state of public opinion in Europe on issues related to the European Union as well as attitudes on subjects of political or social nature. Latinobarametro - Opinion Publica Latinoamericana
An annual public opinion survey that involves some 20,000 interviews in 18 Latin American countries, representing more than 600 million inhabitants. Available in Spanish and English.
