Music Research

This research guide helps you to navigate various in-print and online music resources for your upcoming performances, papers and projects.

Scores in Print

Most of the scores we have in print are on the 3rd floor, South Tower, of the Main Library.

  • Some scores beginning with a call number of M1, M2, or M3 may not be removed from the library.
  • Use the library catalog NUsearch to find scores. See the Library of Congress Guide below for info on call numbers.

All rare and unique scores are kept in the McCormick Library of Special Collections, Deering Library.
