Getting In Touch

When you get in touch with a librarian for help finding resources for your DTC project, it is helpful if you share the following information with them:

  • the title of your project, and, if possible, your project description from the client
    • Example: head rest for tone deficits in TBI population
  • any additional information the client has shared with you
    • Example: we have already tried multiple headrests, padding, cervical collars, and headstraps
  • what specific topic related to your project you're curious about
    • Example: the physiology of the human head and neck and how it changes with dystonia in patients who have experienced traumatic brain injury
  • what resources you've found already/where you've searched
    • Example: Wikipedia, PubMed, NUsearch

This will help us find relevant resources for you!
