A guide to resources in the Northwestern University Archives that document Northwestern's rich history in theatre teaching and performance.

What about....

The University Archives also has subject files, photo files, publications files, and other resources that can enhance research about theater at Northwestern. For example:

Books and more

In addition to our larger collections of personal papers, production records, and photographs, the University Archives also has other kinds of documentation about theatre at NU, including programs from productions, secondary sources that tell about the history of the University and the School of Communication; and biographical information (either in the form of a subject file or a published or unpublished book) about notable alumni and faculty.  The following is a list of some of our print resources (the box on the left describes some of the other sources). Note that these print materials are non-circulating; they must be consulted in the Archives' Reading Room. In some cases, the NU Library may own additional circulating copies--check the Library catalog.
