Zotero Institutional Storage Subscription

Unlimited file storage in Zotero is now available for Northwestern University faculty, students, and staff who register for an account or currently have an account using an NU email address (northwestern.edu, u.northwestern.edu, etc.). If you are currently using a personal email address with your Zotero account and wish to access unlimited storage, please update your Zotero account with your NU email address. If you are currently paying for additional storage, you no longer need to do this.

Please note that the storage provided by Zotero is only suitable for public data (such as citations or generally available publications). Please exercise caution when storing files in Zotero that may contain confidential or sensitive information.

Note that if a user leaves Northwestern, they will lose access to unlimited cloud storage after a 30 day grace period. They will not lose access to the files on their computer because of insufficient cloud storage. They would need to add a personal email on their Zotero account or change their primary email to a personal email.
