The library offers a variety of ways to access full text articles in our catalog. This guide contains information about some of the resources we use to access full-text articles:

• Accessing items from the catalog
• Instant access to articles with Article Galaxy Scholar
• Requesting items via Interlibrary Loan
• Using the LibKey Nomad extension to access articles from external websites

For articles available via instant access or Interlibrary Loan document delivery, users see an option to “Request PDF”. When users click this option, our service checks availability of the article in our catalog, as an instant access PDF, or to be requested via Interlibrary Loan.

With instant access to PDFs, the user is able to view and download the article in seconds. If the article request needs to go through Interlibrary Loan, it may take a few days while our library staff borrow it from another library.
