Steering Committee Charge

The Steering Committee is a cross-functional, multi-level group of staff whose charge is to spearhead the Culture Change Initiative in the library. More specifically:

·         Support the creation of a shared vision by engaging members of staff

·         Develop a plan to enable the library to create a new culture of collaboration and teamwork

·         Propose a training and education plan for staff to support the new culture

·         Recommend ways to build trust and lead/manage change

·         Demonstrate the culture of transparency through effective and timely communication

·         Propose an implementation plan with milestones and follow-up at specified times
