Finding books at Northwestern

Use NUsearch, Northwestern University Library's search tool, to find books, documents, video, sound recordings, and other items across both the Evanston and Chicago campus libraries of Northwestern University.
NOTE: NUsearch can also search across several article databases to retrieve articles and other documents.

Tips for searching with keywords and filter results

pandemic* AND "global health" AND regulations-> finds the words pandemic/s and "global health" and regulations in the book or article records / descriptive content.  (Narrower search)

pandemic* AND "global health" AND (regulations OR governance) --> finds pandemic/s, global health, and either regulations or governance or both regulations and governance in the book or article records / descriptive content. (Broader search)

The initial search below in NUsearch finds not only books, but journals, individual articles and many other formats for information sources.  You can easily limit down to online availability, such as ebooks, any format, or date of publication, subject, language, etc.  This example below shows how you can filter your results down to online books, or ebooks, instead of all source types.

If you find books you need that are in the Libraries but not available online, you can place a request for off-campus delivery to your address.

Select your delivery method, such as home delivery, and fill in your address in the notes field as shown below.
