The Second Impeachment Trial

The second Impeachment Trial of Donald John Trump, former President of the United States, began Tuesday February 9, 2021 at 1pm ET.  Live video of these proceedings can be found at:

S.Res 16, approved 2/8/2021, provides procedures for the Impeachment.  Schedule information is also provided in this article by Politico (02/08/2021).

S.Res 47, approved 2/9/2021, A resolution to provide for related procedures concerning the article of impeachment against Donald John Trump, former President of the United States.

"The question is whether Donald John Trump is subject to the jurisdiction of a Court of Impeachment for acts committed while President of the United States, notwithstanding the expiration of his term in that office?" [CR 2/9/2021 S609, debate and roll call vote as recorded in the Congressional Record]

The Congressional Record (CR) provides transcripts of proceedings on the floor of both the Senate and the House of Representatives.

11/26/2019 - release of transcripts from joint depositions of  Deputy Associate Director for National Security Programs at the Office of Management and Budget Mark Sandy and Acting Assistant Secretary of State in the Bureau of European and Eurasian Affairs Philip Reeker. In addition, the Committees released the transcripts from depositions of witnesses under subpoena who failed to comply.
