  • No one will lose their jobs but roles might change
  • No new dollars for permanent staff
  • Design the new structure based on our core businesses
  • The new structure should enable effective implementation of the culture change initiative
  • Emphasize a front-facing organization - services to students and faculty now and in the future
  • Design to ensure efficiency and high performance
  • Reduce duplication of effort, streamline the organization
  • The service units should be easily explainable
  • The new structure should be transparent and comprehensible
  • Space planning will come later
