Choosing Where to Search For Journal Articles

Determining what subjects your topic falls into can help in figuring out what databases may be most likely to find relevant literature. For example, if you are researching electric toothbrushes, medical and engineering databases might be the most appropriate places to start. You can always reach out to the librarian in your subject area for recommendations on where to start your searches.

Library research guides will provide you with suggestions for scholarly resources in your specific field.
