Find Books at NU

Use NUsearch to identify books that the library has, as well as journal titles, videos, maps, and more.

Tips on searching:

  • When searching for two different terms, type AND in between. For example, gender AND elections
  • To broaden your search you can connect synonyms or similar terms, type OR in between. For example, children OR adolescent
  • When searching for a phrase, put the terms in quotation marks. For example, "structural racism"
  • To search for variations on a word or phrase, use the * at the end. For example, searching for politic* will pull up results with politics, politicians, and political

Find Books Outside of NU

WorldCat is a place you can identify books that NU might not have. Ebook records within WorldCat will not necessarily take you to the full-text unfortunately, but this may be way to find additional literature on your topic.
