Tips for searching with keywords in NUSearch

BASIC SEARCH

You can place all your search words (aka keywords) together side by side and NUsearch will find search results that each include both or all terms.

ADVANCED SEARCH

bilingualism AND code-switching finds both bilingualism and code-switching in the book or article record / descriptive content.  AND narrows your search down.

(bilingualism OR multilingualism) AND code-switching finds books, articles or other information sources about... 

  • bilingualism and code-switching    ...as well as...
  • multilingualism and code-switching 

Since bilingualism and multilingualism are related or nearly synonymous search words, combining them with OR in the same search may broaden your search and help discover relevant sources that you might have otherwise missed.

The initial search below in NUsearch finds not only books, but journals, individual articles and many other formats for information sources.  You can easily limit down to any format or date of publication, subject, language, etc.
