Upon opening the app for the first time you need to select Academic as the library type and Northwestern as the library. You must be connected to the NU network on site or via the VPN in order to create your account. Use your Northwestern email address. Once your account is created, you will be able to connect from anywhere.

Your device will be paired with Northwestern's subscription, allowing you remote access for 6 months.To reactivate, simply connect from the Northwestern network again.
