COLL-ASSESS  This listserv is devoted to topics related to collection evaluation and collection assessment.

SIGMETRICS is a listserv discussion group for academics, practitioners, commercial providers, government representatives and others that covers bibliometrics, scientometrics and informetrics, and also metrics as related to the design and operation of Digital Libraries and other information systems interpreted broadly.

ARL-ASSESS@arl.org This is the listserv of the ARL group. Their blog is Libraryassessment.info Like the Library Assessment Conference, the ARL listserv and blog cater more to public services-types of assessment and evaluation rather than collections-related analysis.

Conferences

The following are conferences and communities for librarians with assessment and analysis responsibilities. These groups offer regularly scheduled events. Some emphasize assessment of public services and learning outcomes, while some give time to analyses of collections and finances, and others include institution-wide practices.
