When an inventor comes up with a new creation/product, usually the first thing he/she wants to do is to get it patented to make sure the owner with the right to exclude others from exploiting the patented technology, including, for example, making, using, or selling the patented invention. Are you wondering whether someone has made a device to the one you want to make? You can see if a similar product has been patented in InnovationQ Plus, Dewent, or the US patent database.
