Journals

Following are some of the leading journals in art history. Each is scholarly in focus, and covers a wide range of topics. In addition, the articles can be invaluable sources of bibliographic inspiration. While books can sometimes offer greater breadth, journal articles represent the most current scholarship on a given topic from a number of varying perspectives, and often have a tighter focus.
