Books, journals, and databases

• Use NUsearch to locate books, journals, databases, etc. available at NU Library (print and electronic). 
• You may find a compilation of the most frequently used Science & Engineering online resources here, including SciFinder, Reaxys, Web of Science, SpringerMaterials, and more.

Software

• ChemDraw. Chemical drawing tool. You will need a Northwestern e-mail address to download it.
• EndNote. Reference management software. 
• Available software. List of available software from NUIT at a significant or total discount to Northwestern faculty, staff, or students.

Getting materials that we don't have. You can request materials that we don't own or are in use. Interlibrary loan services, including electronic delivery of articles, are free to all NU students, faculty and staff. You will need to create an interlibrary loan account.

Connecting from off campus. You may use Northwestern VPN or go through the Libraries website.
