Where do I begin my research? 

1. Consider ordering your research process by first reading industry overviews in a database such as IBISWorld database.  This will give you a broad understanding of your industry of interest.

2. Based on what you have learned, you can then conduct more detailed information searches on specific aspects of an industry, using a refined keyword search. Look for information in specialized databases such as BCC Research for  information on healthcare, Forrester and Gartner for information technology and venture capital/private equity information sources located in the VC/PE tab.
