DataBank: Map Research to Collections

Interlibrary Loan Data as Measurement of Usage & Needs

Is the current collection supporting current research needs? Are there twice as many Anthropology publications being requested through ILL than publications covering Psychology? What is the significance of these data--e.g., Does the efficiency of the ILL system seem to outweight the urgency to purchase "unmet needs"-? What proportion of the titles requested have been requested more than once?

Examine xx years of ILL reports. What titles (monographs, videos, microforms) have been borrowed at least xx times? From which journals have articles been requested at least xx times? Is there a noticably higher number of requests in one subject field than in others?
