NAICS (North America Industrial Classification System)
Locate industry information such as revenues and employment via this classification system. Every industry has a NAICS number which can be located at the NAICS site. Tip: To find information about car dealers, locate the NAICS number by typing 'autos' in the search bar on the upper left side of the NAICS homepage. To see information on this industry, go to Google and type: naics #. The first search result will be a page from the U.S. Census Bureau with industry information. European industrial classification system is known as NACE.
