NUsearch

Our libraries have vast and varied collections. For instance, we have more than 7 million print and electronic books, more than 220,000 maps, 210,000 audio files, about 158,000 electronic journals, close to 200,000 print journals, and more. NUsearch is the Libraries discovery tool and will help you search our holdings.

Borrowing materials

Borrow materials using your WildCARD. Loan periods and items limits vary by user type (undergraduate student, graduate student, and faculty or staff). Learn about your borrowing privileges here

What if Northwestern does not have the article or book that I need?

If your materials are unavailable at Northwestern, you may be able to borrow them from another library. Use the interlibrary loan form for that. You will find more information on how to request unavailable materials here.
