NVivo is a qualitative data analysis package. NVivo helps researchers to organize and analyze complex non numerical or unstructured data, both texts and multimedia information. The software allows users to classify, sort and arrange thousands of pieces of information. It also accommodates a wide range of research methods. It supports documents in many languages

Where to Find NVivo?

The following library computers have NVIVO v.11 installed:

  • University Library Information Commons - PublicIC03, PublicIC06,
  • Deering Library Room 101 - PublicGov09 
  • Mudd Library - PublicMudd01

NUworkspace offers users a Windows virtual desktop with a suite of software applications (including NVivo 11) for University work.
