About the Awards

The goal of the Awards & Recognition program is to formally recognize the contributions of our library staff.

This program comes directly out of recommendations from the Culture Change Initiative

There are three awards for which library employees can be nominated. All employees from all departments and administrative areas are eligible. Exceptions include the Dean, Portfolio Holders and students. Those who have won the award in the past two years are also excluded. Any employee of Northwestern University Libraries may nominate any eligible person or team that meets the award criteria. Self-nominations for individual and team awards are permitted.

  • Library Leader Award
  • Outstanding Team Award
  • Ingenuity Award
